In light of the College Board’s AP Biology changes, many teachers have been asking Vernier where they can find inquiry-based investigations for biology. The new Investigating Biology with Inquiry is now available (Investigating Biology through Inquiry (BIO-I)).
Many ideas for biology inquiry can also be found in the teacher’s information section of our Advanced Biology with Vernier lab book. You can also find several inquiry-based investigations appropriate for biology in our lab books Investigating Environmental Science through Inquiry and Investigating Chemistry through Inquiry. These includes labs on Cellular Respiration, Enzyme Activity, and Fermentation.
For another great example of biology inquiry, take a look at our Innovative Uses lab that describes an investigation of primary productivity in aquatic ecosystems using our new Primary Productivity Kit (PPK).
