LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3 have a rudimentary security feature meant to deter unwanted access to the connections settings. To regain full access to the connections settings do the following:

Access the Advanced Preferences Network tab
• LabQuest 2—Tap Home / Preferences / Advanced Preferences / Network Tab
• LabQuest 3—Tap Advanced Preferences from the Settings screen, then tap the Network tab

Tap “Connections app lockdown”
Tap Edit Preference
Change the Key Value to 0 to restore full access.
Tap on OK.

Other settings include:
0 = Full Access (default setting)
1 = Access to Network Settings Only
2 = No access to any settings
