LabQuest Interfaces
Data-collection in stand-alone mode or with computers and Chromebooks:
- If you prefer not to rely on computers and are looking for a stand-alone option, we recommend LabQuest 3.
- LabQuest 3 includes built-in graphing and analysis software, and a vivid color touch screen.
- LabQuest 3 can be used with computers and Chromebooks, or as a stand-alone data-collection and analysis device.
- LabQuest 3 is also ideal for outdoor field work, has battery-powered, and includes a Data Matrix function for recording site data from multiple sensors over time.
- LabQuest 3 includes Audio Function Generator and Power Amplifier applications for generating waveforms.
Data-collection with computers or Chromebooks:
- If you are looking to support wired (BTA and BTD) sensors and you have a computer or Chromebooks at each lab station, then LabQuest Mini is a great option. It is our lowest-cost interface for multiple sensors, and does not require a battery or a power supply.
- If you already own LabPro interfaces that you use with computers and are looking to add additional stations, then LabQuest Mini is the recommended option. What is the difference between the LabQuest Mini and the LabPro?
- LabPro interfaces cannot work with Chromebooks. The recommended replacement interface is the LabQuest Mini.
Data-collection with iOS or Android phones or tablets:
- The sensor interface originally developed for this, the LabQuest Stream, has been discontinued.
- Data collection with wired (BTA and BTD) sensors require LabQuest 3 (LABQ3) or LabQuest 2 via Wi-Fi Data Sharing.
- How do I set up LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3 and Graphical Analysis app to work together via wireless Data Sharing over Wi-Fi?
