Some Go Direct devices, such as Go Direct® Acceleration Sensor (GDX-ACC), have sensor channels that might be beneficial to zero for a remote data logging experiment. When configuring a remote data logging experiment, it is possible to zero sensor channels.
Note: Not all sensors can be zeroed. If a sensor channel does not support zeroing, the option to zero will not show in the sensor meter’s tools list.
Steps to zero a sensor channel for a remote data logging experiment
- Launch Graphical Analysis and connect your Go Direct sensor.
For detailed instructions for connecting the sensor to the Graphical Analysis app, refer to Getting Started with Go Direct Sensors. - Click or tap a sensor meter,
, to access the tool for zeroing the sensor channel.
- Choose Zero to set the current sensor reading to zero. This defines an offset that is applied to all future readings.
- Start your remote data logging experiment.
