Note: the instructions below refer to using CH 1 for clarity; however, any channel can be used.
Instructions for LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3
1) Connect the sensor to channel CH 1* on the LabQuest.
| 2) Choose Sensor Setup from the Sensors menu. |  |
| 3) Tap the box next to CH 1* to view the list of available sensors. |   |
| 4) Select the appropriate sensor, then tap OK. |   |
| 5) Tap OK again to return to the meter screen. |  |
Instructions for original LabQuest
1) Connect the sensor to channel CH 1* on the original LabQuest.
2) Choose Sensor Setup from the Sensors menu.
3) Next to CH 1*, use the drop-down arrow to select the name of your sensor.
4) Choose your preferred units in the adjacent drop-down menu.
5) Choose OK
Your nonauto-ID sensor will now work with LabQuest for the remainder of the experiment. You will need to repeat these steps if you turn the LabQuest off or choose New from the File menu.
*Other channels can be used as well as long as you the same channel is used in both steps 1 and 3.
