While the labs in the four RealTime Physics books were originally written to use Logger Pro, they can be done with Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro using the setup files linked below. Note: two labs1 from this collection require Vernier Video Analysis since those labs involve analyzing the motion of object in a video.

The RealTime Physics books were written generically. No changes to the books’ written instructions are needed to support Graphical Analysis Pro. If needed, notes were added to the setup files to help with the procedure.

Download the files for the RealTime Physics books you own. (The books are not sold by Vernier and are not included with the downolads.)

Each download includes two collections of setup files. One collection (“Go Direct (GDX) Sensor Files”) supports our newer Go Direct Sensors. The other collection (“Wired (LQ) Sensor Files”) supports our older wired sensors that connect to a interface (e.g., LabQuest Mini). Use the files that match the sensors you own.

  1. The activities that require Vernier Video Analysis are:
    ● Module 1—Mechanics, Lab 10 – Two-Dimensional Motion (Projectile Motion)
    ● Module 3—Electricity & Magnetism, Lab 1 – Coulomb’s Law ↩︎
