While the activities from the book Physics with Video Analysis (PVA-E) were written to use Logger Pro, the activities can be done with Vernier Video Analysis along with Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro using the files linked below.
Note: There are several ways in which activities from this book use videos for data collection and
analysis. While Logger Pro supported all these options, you will need both Vernier Video Analysis
and Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro to do all the activities from this book.
Vernier Video Analysis
- Analyze an Object’s Motion—Activities: 1, 3, 5–9, 11–16, 18–20, 22, 23, 25–27
- Measure Distances in a Video—Activities: 2, 29
- Single-Frame Image Analysis1—Activity: 21
Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro
- Sensor Data Synced with Video—Activities: 4, 17, 21, 23, 24, 29, 31, 32
- Manual Entry of Data from a Video—Activities: 10, 28–31, 33
- While Vernier Video Analysis does not supported this feature directly, a video having
multiple frames of a single image was used to achieve the desired results. ↩︎
