Texas Instruments is aware that some rechargeable calculators are displaying a “validating OS” message or not holding a charge. Customers in the US who have this happening with their calculators should use the link below to place an order for a replacement battery.
- You purchased a calculator in the last two years that is either:
- A TI-84 Plus CE calculator displaying a “Validating OS” message, continuously rebooting, and/or flashing a white screen.
OR - A TI-Nspireâ„¢ CX II or TI-Nspireâ„¢ CX II CAS calculator that will not hold a charge, powers on when connected to a power source, and/or immediately shuts down when unplugged.
- A TI-84 Plus CE calculator displaying a “Validating OS” message, continuously rebooting, and/or flashing a white screen.
- You have charged the calculator a minimum of three hours.
TI customers may order up to 5 rechargeable batteries through this process. Additionally customers may request a 1 yr subscription of the TI-84 Plus or TI-Nspire CX II online calculator app using the same form.
