The Vernier Arduino^® Interface Shield (BT-ARD) provides an easy way to connect LabQuest sensors to certain Arduino microcontrollers, including the Arduino UNO R3 and SparkFun^® RedBoard with cable (ARD-RED). The Arduino UNO R4 Minima and UNO R4 Wifi have the same form factor, shield compatibility, and 5 V power supply as the UNO R3. Therefore, the UNO R4 boards work with the Vernier Arduino Interface Shield.

There is an Arduino library for the Vernier Arduino Interface Shield called VernierLib. Instructions for installing and using the library can be found in the Using the VernierLib Library section of the Using Vernier Sensors with Arduino Guide. When using the UNO R4 with the VernierLib library, make sure to use version 1.0.6 or newer.
