The Investigating Wind Energy lab book contains 10 hands-on experiments and a culminating wind energy engineering project. Topics covered include energy transfer; basic electric circuits; and the effect of blade variables such as pitch, shape, quantity, mass, and material.
Help students form critical connections between abstract scientific ideas and the real world. With the Vernier Graphical Analysis® app, students can visualize and interact with voltage, current, power, and energy output from renewable energy experiments.
