Vernier Variable Load User Manual

Order Code: VES-VL

The Vernier Variable Load provides an easy way to adjust the resistance load on a circuit. Designed for use in conjunction with the Go Direct Energy (order code: GDX-NRG) and Vernier Energy Sensor (order code: VES-BTA), it can be used to determine the optimal load on a system such as a wind turbine or solar panel. The Vernier Variable Load can be used on any circuit not exceeding 0.22 A. The included wire leads allow for easy attachment to the Load terminals of the energy sensor or other circuit. Note: Measured resistance values from an energy sensor are not meaningful when current and voltage values are near zero.

Note: Vernier products are designed for educational use. Our products are not designed nor are they recommended for any industrial, medical, or commercial process such as life support, patient diagnosis, control of a manufacturing process, or industrial testing of any kind.
