The Precision Volume Dispenser offers an exceptionally accurate and precise method for dispensing drops in a titration setup. Using the Product

Setup

1. Fasten the clamp securely to a ring stand or stir station.
2. Insert the dispenser into the clamp and tighten the set screw to hold it in place.
3. Fill the titrant reservoir with the desired solution.
4. Place a beaker under the delivery tip to capture drops, or use a graduated cylinder if calibrating the drop counter.
5. Open the lower stopcock, which only rotates 90 degrees, to start the flow.
6. Adjust the drop rate using the needle valve until it dispenses 1-2 drops per second.
7. Use the lower stopcock to easily turn the flow on and off during your titration.

Recommended Use

• The dispenser is best used with a drop counter and either a pH, ORP, or conductivity electrode for accurate titration measurements. Refer to Figure 1 for setup.

• For the most accurate measurements, calibrate the drop counter using the software before starting your experiment. See your drop counter’s user manual for detailed calibration instructions.

Care and Maintenance

The dispenser is made of polypropylene, a material known for its excellent chemical compatibility with a wide range of substances. However, it is recommended to verify the compatibility with specific chemicals before use. Always be sure to rinse thoroughly with water after each use to maintain the dispenser's longevity and performance.
