LabVIEW Software for LabPro

The Vernier LabPro is a versatile data collection interface that has potential for exciting programming projects when combined with LabVIEW software. In addition to collecting data from sensors, the digital output channels allow you to control electrical devices like DC motors, fans, and LEDs. Combining sensor input with digital output allows you to design and program exciting control projects. The Robotics & Control Kit is a great resource for creating LabPro control projects.

1. Download the LabPro Driver VIs

LabPro Toolkit	Download the toolkit first, before running examples.
Readme	The readme text file included with the toolkit.

2. Download Example VIs

Once you have downloaded the LabPro Toolkit, simply download examples from the list below and get started collecting data, controlling the digital outputs, controlling the LabPro's function generator, and more.

LabPro Commands	6.1 / 7.0	Communicating with the LabPro is done with command strings. See examples of how to create and send these strings.
DCU Programs	6.1 / 7.0	All of our example programs that are included with the DCU, highlighting digital and analog output.
Rotary, Photogate, Motion	6.1 / 7.0	Examples that demonstrate the use of the Rotary Motion Sensor, Photogate, and Motion Detector.
Analog Data Collection	6.1 / 7.0	Collect, save, analyze and compare data from analog probes. Introduces the state machine programming architecture.
Function Generator	6.1 / 7.0	Generate analog output signals to turn your LabPro into a fun and useful function generator.
Simple LabVIEW 5.1 VIs	5.1	Simple, easy to follow VIs written using LabVIEW 5.1 software. Learn the basics of programming the LabPro.
