Data Collection with TI Calculators
We offer several ways to collect data with TI graphing calculators. One option utilizes the Vernier LabPro or the CBL 2 data collection interfaces. In this option, sensors connect to the interface, and the interface connects to the calculator. LabPro and CBL 2 are full-feature data-collection interfaces that support our complete line of sensors, and they work with most of the TI graphing calculators. If you are a science or math teacher, these interfaces give you the most flexibility.
The other option allows you connect sensors directly to a TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculator. Through the USB port you can collect temperature data with the Vernier EasyTemp™, and you can collect position, velocity and acceleration data with a CBR 2™. Or you can collect data from pressure, light, force, and more with the Vernier EasyLink™ and one of 41 compatible Vernier probes. In each case, data collection is simplified with the Vernier EasyData™ program.

Vernier LabPro vs. Texas Instrument CBL 2
Vernier LabPro and TI CBL 2 are data collection interfaces that allow you to collect data with TI graphing calculators. These two products were jointly developed by Vernier and Texas Instruments. They are similar in many ways, but there are some important differences. The main one being that LabPro also works with computers. The following gives you a brief description of the two interfaces.
See LabPro vs. CBL 2 Comparison for a complete comparison of the two products.
